A phone qualifies if the parent company sits in South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Finland, Taiwan, Japan, or another non-Chinese HQ. Hong Kong does not count as a pass.
Final assembly in Vietnam, India or Texas does not wash a Shenzhen parent. Almost every phone on Earth still uses some China-sourced parts. This is not a “China-free bill of materials” page. It is an ownership page.

- Unlocked from Amazon, Best Buy, or the brand site works on the big three if the model is certified. Confirm T-Mobile / Verizon / AT&T bands on the spec sheet. A “global” import with the wrong n77/n41 mix is how people buy twice.
- Carrier deals look cheaper. Read the credit small print. A $0 down iPhone is often a 24- or 36-month hook.
